Good Morning Faith-Inspired Doers!
We have some exciting news to share — Faithonomics has a brand-new name: Reverend Money!
Why the change?
While Faithonomics served us well, it didn’t quite capture the vibrant spirit of what we’re building together. We wanted a name that’s bold, memorable, and clearly rooted in our mission to help faith leaders like you embrace financial fluency, cultivate a healthier relationship with money, and collaborate on issues of economic justice.
Reverend Money reflects the intersection of faith, finance, and vocation in a way that feels approachable, dynamic, and—dare we say—fun? It’s about empowering the modern Faith Leader to think holistically about money while working toward economic justice in their ministry, nonprofit, or entrepreneurial ventures.
But don’t worry, our commitment to delivering actionable tools, thoughtful reflections, and supportive community vibes remains the same.
So, what changes can you expect under the new name?
- The Faithonomics Podcast will relaunch as The Reverend Money Podcast: Starting on January 7, 2025, this weekly podcast will dive into practical and relevant financial topics to help you, as a faith leader, increase your financial fluency and gain confidence around money. Listen to the trailer here and subscribe wherever you get your podcasts! 🎙️
- The Doers Speak Virtual Speaker Forum is now Reverend Money Talks: Through these talks we seek to model how we can talk about faith, money, and vocation in healthy and holistic ways. Register for our next event here. 🎤
- The Faithonomics Bulletin is now The Reverend Money Digest: Still a newsletter you actually enjoy reading, The Reverend Money Digest will bring you weekly commentary on an issue of personal or public finance alongside important updates and announcements from Reverend Money. 📚
So, what new things can you expect under the new name?
- The cultivation of an online academy that will serve as the hub for our financial education opportunities. Not only will this space house our one-to-one financial education opportunities and group programs, but starting Summer 2025 will offer on-demand classes!
- The transition of the Doers Creative to a refreshed online collective that connects faith leaders with the education, resources, and collaborative partners they need to integrate the work of economic justice into their own vocational call.
In the end, Reverend Money holds the same mission as Faithonomics, but with a name that better speaks to who we are and what we’re about. Furthermore, we are still committed to our Tithing Pledge - donating 10% of our profits to eradicate poverty through The Wild Imagination Fund.
I want to thank you for being part of this journey and invite you to keep having the hard money conversations so that we can collectively build an economy that works for all of God's creation.
With Wild Imagination,
Rev. Rayce J. Lamb, CFEI®
