Five Tips For Setting Healthy Goals

Faithful Entrepreneurship - A Conversation with Josh McGee

Reclaiming Your (Buying) Power Workshop

Happy New Year Friends!

Yesterday, I published the first episode of the new Reverend Money Podcast. In a season of resolutions, I thought it was important to share a few tips about goal setting that I've learned from my years working alongside pastors with their personal finances. You can listen to the full episode here, but I wanted to pull out one tip that is especially important:

Be gentle with yourself.

Let 2025 be the year you pursue gentleness - especially when it comes to your personal finances. Through my one-on-one sessions, the clients I see make the most progress toward their financial goals are the ones who are gentle with themselves from the start. They let go of the shame, the expectations, and the guilt of 'not being where they should be' with their personal finances. They know that financial wholeness is a journey, not a sprint and that self-care is important from the start. It's a good reminder for us that financial resolutions don't have to be so dreadful. They can be calm. They can be lowkey. They can be gentle.

If you are looking for a gentle way to increase your financial fluency in 2025, I hope you'll consider one of the following offerings by Reverend Money:
